1939 Lehaitre Tank Bike

This 3D model is based on a 1939 concept vehicle invented by J. Lehaitre in 1939 Paris, France. It had a top speed of 25 mph and featured a continuous track belt drive instead of wheels. I took some creative liberties to make things a little more interesting such as adding the exposed V-twin power plant, tank style link-track and tread in place of the rubber track belt , head light, and some other little accents. The markings are generic military type markings. The black triangle was used in WW2 as a symbol in the British military for Alpha troop in some battalions and the bold line on the rear panel is a common way to imply a warning or safety hazard. In this case it signifies a danger area aft of the marking due to debris and exhaust. The original vehicle only bore the inventor's name in script as shown and was featured in a magazine called Modern Mechanix.
